Creating Space…
Spring is three weeks away! How to free myself of the ‘clutter’ that occupies my mind; to be in stillness that I might hear the sound, feel the energy, see the unlimited potential that exists within spaciousness.
One way is to examine the fears that are responsible for the creation of some belief structures. If we reach deeper when a fear comes up rather than running, we run into a much deeper sense of utter belonging to the divine source of creation. At the heart of fear is the truth we all know and that is the way home.
Be still in the chaos and return to clarity. Finding your way to center, align and ground is important when distractions overwhelm. There are MANY, yoga and meditation work well as does a regular exercise program to keep energy moving.
Know that the ‘teacher’ and thy self are one. See how the love of the master is the love of self. The teacher is each one of us. The light we see shining from the heart of the master is a reflection of our own inner light.
Astrology for the Vernal Equinox
The sun enters Aries at 10:32 a.m. on March 20th (PST). This is the official beginning of Spring! There are three important planetary aspects on this day that support us to dump the junk and leap into new possibility. The day starts with Pluto square Mercury. Pluto is the planet of transformation and elimination. Mercury is the mind and thoughts. The square aspect creates tension so that energy which is stuck will eventually move. Pluto in the sign Capricorn is already urging the destruction of old structures while Mercury in Aries is poised to explore the potential of self through an enlightened mind.
As the day progresses Uranus and the Moon come into sextile promoting freedom from established patterns of behavior. With the moon in Taurus it will challenge emotional attachments that provide us with a sense of security. There will be a desire to embrace collective movement for the highest good.
On this day, Sun and Saturn are within a degree of exact opposition. Saturn is retrograde and approaching the exact opposition. A planet in retrograde revisits and regurgitates stuff from the past. With Saturn in the twelfth house and in Libra what may surface are anxieties based on fears of the unknown that were established in collective perception regarding the nature of duality a very long time ago.
How better to deal with such profound concerns than the energy of Aries? With the Sun in the sign of the spiritual warrior we will be led forward into the unknown fearlessly and passionately. Each individual will have an opportunity to embrace that which they fear most in terms of bringing the self into perfect balance. There is a door in front of us, standing open that invites each one of us to feel the harmonious alignment of a dual nature and to share the deep love of self that this allows.
The fact that Mars goes direct on the 10th and will be aspecting the Saturn/Sun opposition offers fuel for our flight! Mars direct has a natural tendency to be assertive, action oriented and goal focused. When retrograde the energy is turned inward. We are more apt to re-assess what we want and to be introspective. As Mars turns direct there will be a desire to act upon what we have gained from the opportunity to withdraw and go within.
Spring Cleaning!
…should include a liver cleanse that ultimately supports the functioning of all the organs. Water and lemon juice, dandelion greens, milk thistle tea are all helpful to the liver but to do a thorough cleanse you will want to check out various cleanses that are available on the internet. Most are easy to do with a little discipline. And most provide you with great information about the nature of cleansing in general. The following is from www.livingcenter.com a site with great information:
Liver/Gallbladder Flush
Spring is the best time to do the liver-gallbladder flush, a natural remedy that can help to eliminate gallstones and accumulated sludge from the gall bladder. Two to three weeks before doing the flush take hydrangea root to break up and dissolve the stones. (Hydrangea root can also dissolve kidney stones and excess calcium deposits.) The flush consists of juice fasting on fresh vegetable juices for two days and apple juice for one day, taking Triphala (an ancient Ayurvedic herbal tonifying bowel formula) during this time to increase bile flow and keep the bowels moving. On the night of the third day, drink ½ cup of organic cold-pressed virgin olive oil mixed with ½ cup of organic freshly squeezed lemon juice just before bed, and lie on the right side to concentrate the remedy in the gall bladder. The next morning, after an enema, the colon may evacuate up to 100 gallstones, seen as bright green pea-sized crystallized cholesterol deposits. (If your liver or gall bladder is in a weakened condition, see your health practitioner before doing this flush.) After the flush gradually introduce solid enzyme-rich fresh foods into your daily diet.
After some cleansing, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) seeds assist the liver as it regenerates cells and throws off body toxins that it filters out. A great liver-cleansing salad is early bitter greens, especially dandelion leaves before the flowers form, with milk thistle leaves, shredded raw beets, lettuces and carrots. Later, lecithin-rich dandelion flowers may be added. Bitter greens, such as dandelion, are astringent foods and assist the liver and gall bladder cleanse, shrink and revitalize for the coming year.
Thank you for your presence and don’t forget to love, laugh and leap!
